By Corinne Bach
Welcome to my Wednesday WOW (Words of the Week); for singers who want more than just vocal warmups and quick tips. This blog is for the whole artist in you—the one who sings with heart, dreams with purpose, and craves both mastery and meaning in your musical journey. If you’re here, chances are good that you’re a singer who wants to grow—in skill, in confidence, in artistry. Maybe you’ve been stuck in a rut. Maybe you’re building from scratch. Maybe you’re preparing for auditions, recitals, a comeback, or just a fresh start. Whatever brought you here, I want to say: Welcome. You’re in the right place.
Who I Am: Singer, Teacher, Technician, Human
I’m Corinne Bach—professional vocalist, international touring artist, recording artist, voice teacher, and certified vocal technician with a deep understanding of the singer’s mind and body. I’ve performed everywhere from concert halls and cruise ships to intimate recording studios and wide-open festival stages. But what lights me up just as much as the spotlight… is helping you shine in your own way.
I hold three degrees in voice:
- BM & MM in Vocal Performance
- BS in Speech Therapy (yes, the science behind the sound!)
And I’m proudly certified and active with two of the most respected teaching organizations in the country:
- NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing)
- MTNA (Music Teachers National Association), where I’m an NCTM (Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in Voice)
I don’t just teach voice—I live it, breathe it, study it, and constantly refine it. But more importantly: I see my students. Not just as voices to be trained, but as people to be supported, heard, and empowered.
What Makes My Teaching Different?
Let’s get real: singing is vulnerable. It’s physical, emotional, and mental. You’re using your body as your instrument. That’s why I blend high-level vocal technique with empathy, psychology, and performance coaching. You’re not just learning “how to sing”—you’re learning how to express, how to connect, and how to feel safe and confident while doing it.
I work with:
- Beginners discovering their voice
- Advanced singers preparing for conservatory or Broadway
- Adults reclaiming their artistry after years away
- Teens developing healthy habits from day one
- Professionals in need of tune-ups or artistic breakthroughs
Whether you want to belt that high C or sing lullabies to your kids without strain—I’ve got you.
Where We Work Together
I teach in a hybrid studio—in person right here in Downtown Tampa, and online from anywhere in the world using the ultra-high-quality FarPlay.io platform (yes, it’s way better than Zoom!).
And while my private studio is currently full, I do offer a Singing Circle group program—a powerful, warm, and guided experience that brings together the 10 Pillars of Successful Singing, including technique, mindset, performance, and more.
Think of it as your home base for vocal growth, with built-in community, feedback, structure, and support. 🎯
