What Students & Parents Are Saying About Our Singing Lessons

I’ve been studying with Corinne for a couple of months now, and she has truly reignited my passion for singing. With a background in vocal performance, I wanted to get back into the craft, and her guidance with technique and breath work has already made a noticeable difference in my support, tone, and range. She’s one of the most organized and professional teachers I’ve ever worked with, and her industry connections are incredible. She even helped me with a recent performance at a charity event, which was amazing exposure as an artist. I’m so excited to see where I’ll be in a few more months, and I genuinely cannot recommend Corinne enough!

I follow Bach School of Music's Secrets of Successful Singers page on Facebook and it has been helpful in reminding me of the basics of singing on a regular basis. On another note, I sing with Ms. Bach, and every conversation about the voice that I have with her I leave feeling enlightened and light-hearted.

Corinne is the absolute best teacher! She’s very knowledgeable, patient, and caring. I feel very fortunate to be learning from her. I grew up singing alto all my life but she is helping me to expand my vocal range and now I’m able to access the soprano part of my voice. I can feel my voice getting stronger every day with her techniques and guidance!

Corinne and her students recently performed at our non-profit Gala, and they were nothing short of exceptional. From elegant cocktail-hour music to a show-stopping Broadway performance by Corinne, the entire evening was filled with energy, passion, and talent. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about their performance, and working with Corinne was an absolute pleasure. Corinne's professionalism and kindness shone through every step of the way. We wholeheartedly recommend Bach School of Voice to anyone seeking five-star entertainment!

Ms. Bach is a wonderful teacher who offers more than just voice lessons. Our daughter has been able to improve her vocal range, control breathing, and use instrumental training techniques she has been taught by Ms. Bach. Outside of voice lessons, she also helps her students compromise bios to prepare them for auditioning, finds music to accentuate vocal skills and offers introductions to other valuable members of the vocal community through group discussions so her students can compete in the vocal opportunities presented. I would recommend the Bach School of Voice to any level student wanting to get more in depth with their own talents.

Before finding Corinne Bach, I was having issue with proper breathing and singing on pitch. I wasn’t sure what to do to improve. I started taking lessons with Corinne Bach and started singing better, have higher notes accessible. I use Corinne’s warm up exercises and even sang in a Church!

I can’t say enough great things about Corinne and the Bach School of Voice. Before finding her, I hadn’t been practicing music for many years and felt pretty disconnected from something I once loved. Working with Corinne helped me reconnect with my passion for singing in a way that feels exciting, supportive, and fun. I take private lessons and am also part of her weekly Singing Circle, which has been such an amazing introduction back into the music scene. Corinne teaches so much more than just singing. She incorporates real-world guidance like how to create resumes, take headshots, write bios, and understand the industry as a whole. There is also so much valuable content available on the app, which makes learning feel ongoing and accessible. Through her guidance, I’ve had opportunities I never would have imagined before, like performing at the Best Buddies Gala, and I’ve gained so much confidence along the way. I’ve also connected with other singers, which has made the experience even more inspiring and motivating. She often brings in guests who are experienced in the industry, and the writing workshop with Sandrinne was especially interesting and helpful. Corinne truly has a gift for teaching and creating a welcoming, empowering community. If you’re looking to grow as a singer, build confidence, and learn how to navigate the music world in a supportive environment, I couldn’t recommend her school more.

Got More Questions? We’ve Got Answers:

Why choose The Bach School of Voice over other voice teachers and coaches?"

Choosing the Right Voice Teacher

When selecting a voice teacher, The Bach School of Voice recommends considering both their credentials and performance background. A good teacher should have formal training in voice or pedagogy, while a great teacher also excels in communication, understands diverse learning styles, and has a strong performing background to inspire students. Ultimately, choose a teacher who resonates with your goals and musical aspirations.

What's the youngest age you teach, and do you take adults?

Private lessons: The Bach School currently provides individual private voice lessons to singers ages 8 and up. However, the youngest she has worked with is 5 (the oldest is 92!).

Group Programs: Group classes have three age categories:

1. KidSing Academy: ages 8-12 (get the KidSing Journal HERE)
2.TeenSing Academy: ages 13-17 (get the TeenSing Journal HERE)
3. Legacy Voice Academy: 16 - Adult (get the Legacy Voice Journal HERE)

If can’t afford ongoing private lessons, what else can I do to develop my singing voice?

Choose unlimited group masterclasses. The Bach School wants to bring the joy of singing and performing to as many Songbirds as possible, whether they choose to do it professionally or as a lifelong recreation. Not everyone can fit private voice lessons into their budget, so Bach School of Voice has affordable group programs so that singers can still get tailored guidance on their own time and on their own terms. You'll have access to prerecorded and live classes, with tracks to guide you in a specific direction:

  • Competitions/Scholarships
  • Auditions
  • College & Summer Program Admissions
  • Business of Singing
  • Vocal Pedagogy (for those who want to teach voice)

I live in Tampa and would like to take private or group lessons with The Bach School of Voice. Do you offer online learning?

Yes! The Bach School of Voice offers live online lessons as well as in-person lessons at its studio in downtown Tampa, Florida. If you’re in the Tampa Bay area, you can take lessons in person. Students of The Bach School of Voice are located all over the world, and even local students enjoy the convenience of online learning. The studio is just steps away from the scenic Riverwalk and two buildings over from the Straz Performing Arts Center.

Online music lessons usually suffer from annoying delays and audio issues. How does The Bach School of Voice address these challenges in online lessons?

The Bach School of Voice uses a specialized online tool called FarPlay. It’s similar to FaceTime, Skype, or Zoom, but specific to musicians without the frustrating delay or sound cutting in and out as you sing or play together. FarPlay is changing the game in online music teaching and collaboration, because it enables you to play music with others over the internet as if you were in the same room. There is virtually undetectable delay and the sound quality is superb. Online teaching is not new but FarPlay has enabled The Bach School to teach singers thousands of miles away, and apart from each other. Based in Tampa, Florida, some of The Bach School's regular voice students are as far away as Vancouver, Canada, Seattle, Washington, and Honolulu, Hawaii. Plus, it’s free for The Bach School’s students to use during lessons.

What are you offering as business opportunities within the entertainment field, like dealing with auditions and recording?

The Bach School of Voice has a worldwide network of coaches, performers, casting directors, and others. Subscribe to her YouTube channel where you can meet some of them in the Successful Singers Interview Series. You’ll meet Broadway, Met Opera, and West End singers, a Grammy-winning choral director and soloist, touring singer/songwriters, a casting director for cruise ships and Broadway, and more.

The Bach School of Voice coaches singers to build themselves first as a brand, then begin negotiating contracts for themselves rather than through an agent, though we do have agencies we’re connected with if you choose to go that route.

Once a singer’s overall brand is in place (setlist, social media, demos, EPK, etc.), we are ready to build out your ideal performance venue list. This includes local, regional, national, and international venues. We will begin with contacting the most realistic venues they are ready to sing in and work our way into more challenging venues.

This instills a repeatable process of making money by singing, getting stage time, and building a following. NOTE: This takes time. Be patient with the process and with yourself. But most of all, SHOW UP!

If you are looking for a quick and easy path to becoming famous, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. Notoriety, even A-lister fame, will come when you are passionate, well-trained, and show up as a reliable professional in the industry.

If you are looking to have a career in singing because you love it and you want it to be your money-maker, then THIS IS FOR YOU.

How much practice time should I dedicate outside my lessons and my program per week?

15-30+ minutes a day 4-6 days a week. This will really depend on you: how much time you have in your schedule, your commitment to the process, and the habits you form as a result of practicing, studying, your dedication to advancing your brand, perfecting your vocal technique, learning repertoire, and growing/building your setlists. Put in the work, and we guarantee it will work for you.

What are my payment options?

You can choose to pay in full for any program (and we offer really sweet incentives if you do). For Group Programs, we want to make it affordable, accessible, and manageable for everyone who applies. Therefore, we offer monthly plans and annual budget friendly plans. Prices vary depending on the program you choose.

Do you offer paid-in-full incentives?

Yes. We have amazing paid-in-full bonuses for each program offered.

What’s the price?

Prices vary depending on the program you choose.

Do you have any future plans for other programs?

Yes! We are planning on hosting a singer’s performance retreat. Stay tuned!
